When I’m not lounging around in Queens, I’m often in Brooklyn collaborating with one of my favorite people, Danny Behar, making weird, short videos to fight off boredom.
This video was inspired by a $2 glass from a thrift store. I directed and shot this video. Danny nailed it with the editing. If you don’t hire me, consider hiring him.
The most amazing opportunity I’ve received in my studies was the chance to work at Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness for two summers in New York City. Working under three of the top commercial producers in the country taught me an incredible amount about the business of television, and the business of working with people.
Small Things is an example of work I was tasked with doing for the 2016 Small Things Big Impact company-wide campaign.
At the beginning semester, my Advanced Television Studio class decided to create a channel full of various and exciting types of video content. Each student was responsible for producing at least one video project for the channel, as well as taking on different roles in a studio environment.
I’ve been lucky enough to take on many different roles within the studio production. I was the co-head of social media, as well as the primary editor of video content. Here are some highlights:
Director & Editor
Assistant Director & Editor
Executive Producer & Host
For my Television Studio Production class, our assignment was to find and interviewer and subject to interview, then compose questions and organize all aspects of production for the three camera shoot. I directed the shoot, and though the quality of the video is poor due to it being recorded on a tape, then digitized, Ms. Tychostup is a fascinating person I was lucky to film.
Director, writer, producer, lighting designer, set designer, and editor.
A Divided Attentions production
Directed, shot, and edited solely by myself, Smile is a personal examination of outer beauty and inner happiness.
I was asked to come up with a concept for a cross promotional video for the campus TV station and the New Paltz Puppeteering Club. These videos were written and shot in the style of Saturday Night Live’s promotional videos.
Writer, producer, director, and editor.
Eye On New Paltz is a weekly news program specifically centered on the happenings and activities of SUNY New Paltz. As co-director, I was responsible for hiring talent, directing camera operators, and organizing weekly shoots. I also wrote scripts for each shoot.
